Well now, let’s talk about them 2 ft tall banker boxes, ya hear? Folks call ’em all sorts of things – storage boxes, moving boxes, whatever. But to me, they’re just big ol’ boxes, good for stuffin’ things in.
I ain’t no fancy expert, mind you, but I know a thing or two about keepin’ things tidy. These boxes, they come in all sorts of sizes, but we’re lookin’ at the ones about two foot tall, or thereabouts. That’s, let’s see, about this high, from my knee to… well, somewhere up my leg. You get the picture.
- First off, ya gotta think about what you’re gonna put in ’em.
- Papers? Clothes? Them knick-knacks your grandkids keep givin’ ya?
If it’s papers, them boxes can hold a whole heap. I heard tell they can hold thousands of them paper things, you know, the ones you write on? But I ain’t never counted ‘em myself. Just stuff ‘em in ’til it’s full, that’s my motto.
Now, them boxes ain’t all the same. Some are skinny, some are fat, some are longer than others. You gotta pick the right one for what you got. Like, if you got long things, you need a long box. If it’s short things, well, a short box will do just fine. Common sense, really.
Moving, that’s when these boxes really shine. You can pack up your whole house in ’em, if you got enough boxes and enough stuff. I remember when we moved outta the old place, we had boxes stacked up higher than my head! Took us forever to unpack everything, but at least it all stayed together in them boxes.
But where do ya get these boxes? Well, you can buy ‘em, that’s for sure. Lots of places sell ‘em. Sometimes you can even get ‘em free from the stores, if you ask nice. They get their stuff in boxes, and they gotta get rid of ‘em somehow. Waste not, want not, I always say.
And listen here, these boxes ain’t just for moving or storing stuff in the attic. You can get creative with ’em! I seen folks make shelves outta them, even little houses for the cats to play in. My neighbor, she even covered one in fancy paper and used it as a footstool. Smart, ain’t she?
But before you go runnin’ off to buy a whole truckload of these boxes, you gotta think about where you’re gonna put ’em. These 2 ft tall ones, they take up some space. You don’t want to be trippin’ over ‘em all the time, now do ya? So plan ahead, that’s what I say.
And don’t forget to label them boxes! You don’t want to be rummaging through a dozen boxes just to find your favorite tea kettle. Write on the side what’s inside, big and clear. Even I can read it then, and my eyes ain’t what they used to be.
So, there you have it. My two cents on them 2 ft tall banker boxes. They’re sturdy, they’re useful, and they can hold a whole lot of your junk. Just remember to pick the right size, stack ‘em neat, and don’t forget to label ‘em. And for goodness sake, don’t try to lift a full one if you ain’t got the strength. You’ll throw your back out for sure. Ask me how I know!
